How Do I Obtain Advisement?

The UST Advisors offer a variety of methods for obtaining advisement throughout the year including via e-mail, walk-in hours, office hours, and by appointment.


E-mail Advisement:
For general inquiries, feel free to check out the FAQs on our website or e-mail us at ust-advise@udel.edu.


Walk-in Advisement:
For basic questions or assistance such as obtaining signatures for pink slips or other forms, quick questions about credits or course choices, requests for excused absences, etc., you are welcome to stop by our office in 148-150 S. College Avr. on a walk-in basis to see Serena Stingone, Graduate Assistant.

Walk-in hours for Fall Semester are as follows:
Monday: 11:30 AM-3:30 PM
Tuesday: 9:30 AM – 12:00 PM & 12:30 PM-4:00 PM
Wednesday: 11:30 AM – 3:30 PM
Thursday: Emergency walk-ins only.
Friday: 12:30 PM –4:00 PM

Advisor Fall Office Hours
If you want to see your specific advisor about general questions or just want to stop in to bounce some ideas around, you are welcome to come to your advisors individual office hours.  Advisors will suspend office hours during the summer.
Adrian McCleary:
Mondays 9:00 AM-12:00 PM and Wednesdays 1:00 PM-4:00 PM
Courtney McGinnis:
Tuesdays 9:00 AM-12:00 PM and Thursdays 1:00 PM-4:00 PM
Pat Jeffery:
Wednesdays & Fridays from 9:30 AM – 11:30 AM & Thursdays from 1:30 PM – 3:30 PM

Appointments:
If your questions are a bit more specific and you would like to be certain you have plenty of time to talk them out, you may call the office at 302-831-4555 or e-mail your advisor to schedule an appointment. Appointments are usually necessary for academic planning, major selection, study abroad, internships, or service learning questions, and graduation analysis.
