University Studies (UST) students are students who are not associated with any one college at UD. This classification allows these students, who meet the appropriate entrance requirements, to choose a major from any of the seven undergraduate colleges within the University. University Studies students are under the supervision of the Faculty Director within the Office of Undergraduate Studies.
University Studies students, receive academic support from the University Studies Program staff, which is comprised of a Faculty Director, three full time advisors and two salaried staff. Students are assisted in choosing appropriate courses and in identifying a major. All University Studies students must choose a major by the end of their fourth full-time semester or before the completion of 60 credits.
University Studies students are provided with individualized counseling and encouraged to focus on an area of interest.
